HOWLAND - Charles P. Malcomson, 77, of Howland died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born March 18, 1935, in Austintown, the son of the late Samuel and Mary Shanfelt Malcomson.
Mr. Malcomson was an inspector with the Adsico Corporation for 25 years. He was of the Christian faith. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Malcomson is survived by his wife, the former Donna J. Toth; sons, Richard A. Malcomson of Brookfield, Charles P. Malcomson of Leavittsburg and Joseph J. Malcomson of Warren; daughters, Susan C. Tauro of Fort Hood, Texas, and Cindy S. Gilbow of Moira, N.Y.; sisters, Niomi Foster of Warren, Ruth Binion of McDonald, Betty Binion of Fort Hood, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
Burial will follow in Howland Township Cemetery.
