The following "love story" was told to junior

TYLER KEELEY, 18, Mentor
I met Meaghan the summer of freshman year, which makes it June 2009. She was dating my best friend at the time and I was dating someone also. It was exam week and her boyfriend came over to me and she came too. She was beautiful. Gorgeous blue eyes and stunning hair. But the thing I admired the most was her smile. She sat across from me and just smiled. I can still remember it. It was such a warming remarkable smile. At the time I didn't know it, but I had just met my soul mate. From then on, she and I would text a lot. Harmless stuff, just talking as good friends. My relationship at the time was going down hill fast as she cheated on me in a way and it was just bad. But Meaghan stayed with me and helped me through it. I was so upset at times but she was always there. She always cheered me up and gave me inspiration. She broke up with her boyfriend and I broke up with my girlfriend as they both did not work. From that point in time to the second day of school, we flirted; hanging out and texting. I knew I liked her. It was such a different feeling than before that I was so nervous to try and go forth and maybe ask her to be mine. I finally mustered up enough courage and asked her out by a text I know I messed up by doing it over texting, but hey, it's worked out so far. From that point on, a new chapter in my life began and it has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I love her and always will. I will protect her over myself and always have her best interests at heart before mine. I don't regret asking her because I knew it was going to happen sometime. That's what happens with true love.
MEAGHAN McMAHON, 18, Mentor
We met in 2009 at the beginning of the summer. I thought he was cute when I first met him. He was dating my best friend and I was dating his best friend. The four of us always hung out and I got to really know and like him. We always texted until really late about the issues he was having with his girlfriend. She turned out to be really nasty. I broke up with my boyfriend because I liked Tyler too much and he broke up with his girlfriend when she found out I liked him while they were still dating. We started dating on September 9, 2009. He is always so sweet to me and I love everything about him. His sense of humor, laugh, smile, and his love for me. I just love everything.
