NILES - Jean Brock, 69, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Terra Alta, W.Va., the daughter of Reed and Beatrice Dewitt Cramer.
Jean had been employed as a nurse's aide.

Survivors include her mother; her husband, Charles Brock; six children, Jesse Patterson of Niles, Julie Galchick of Columbiana, Melissa Hayes of Niles, Matt Patterson of Mineral Ridge, Ray Brock of New Castle, Pa., and Bill Brock of Niles; two brothers, Lonnie and Jimmy Cramer; two sisters, Shirley Metheny and Bonnie Cramer, all of Terra Alta, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by two brothers.
Private services were held, and there are no calling hours. Arrangements were handled by the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel.
