Renee C. Leon and Sgt. Matthew D. Meyer were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 7, 2012, at the Long Barn Lodge in Long Barn, Calif.
A reception followed the ceremony on the grounds of the Long Barn Lodge.
The bride is the daughter of James and Susan Leon of Ione, Calif. Parents of the groom are David and Teresa Meyer of Bristolville.

The new Mrs. Meyer is a 2005 graduate of Argonout High School of Jackson, Calif. She is employed by the United States Army and is a specialist in military intelligence.
Sgt. Meyer is a 2006 graduate of Bristol High School and is an airborne engineer with the United States Army.
The couple reside in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii.
