LORDSTOWN - Vice President Joe Biden just wrapped up his speech at the UAW 1714 union hall.
The vice president was in the Mahoning Valley to talk up the importance of General Motors Co. to the regional and the national economy.
Last week GM announced it was investing $220 million at two Ohio factories, including the Lordstown facility, to build the next generation Chevrolet Cruze compact car.
Biden has used past Ohio trips to drive home the message of the auto bailout's effect in the state, including a visit earlier in the year to an eastern Ohio Chevy dealership.
The Republican National Committee says in response to Biden's visit that President Barack Obama hasn't offered solutions to the challenges facing Ohio.
Biden is visiting the Mahoning Valley for the second time this year. In May, he spoke at M7 Technologies in Youngstown.
