LORDSTOWN - Many in the crowd at Vice President Joe Biden's speech are wearing their politics of their sleeves, literally.
Several people are sporting T-shirts reading: "You Had Our Back ... Now We Got Yours" on the back; the front sports a UAW union symbol and the names Biden and Obama.
The shirt is a likely reference to the government bailout of General Motors in 2008-'09.
The vice president will discuss the choice voters have in this election, "a choice between these two fundamentally different visions of how to grow the economy, create middle-class jobs and pay down the debt."
Last week GM announced it was investing $220 million at two Ohio factories, including the Lordstown facility, to build the next generation Chevrolet Cruze compact car.
Biden has used past Ohio trips to drive home the message of the auto bailout's effect in the state, including a visit earlier in the year to an eastern Ohio Chevy dealership.
The Republican National Committee says in response to Biden's visit that President Barack Obama hasn't offered solutions to the challenges facing Ohio.
Biden is visiting the Mahoning Valley for the second time this year. In May, he spoke at M7 Technologies in Youngstown.
