McDONALD - Irene N. Szabo Arbie, 96, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, of natural causes.
She was born May 1, 1916, in Primrose, Pa., the daughter of Shandor Szabo and Ethel Zagony.
Irene was a homemaker.

Survivors include five children, Carmella DiGiacomo of Fowler, Patricia Ondo of Austintown, Salvatore Arbie of Weathersfield, Nancy Hughes of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Judith Szabo-Lapore of Youngstown; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Samuel Joseph Arbie; five sisters; and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald, where the family will receive family and friends for one hour prior to services.
Arrangements are being handled by McClurkin Funeral Home.
