Christopher J. Kiepper 1950-2012

WARREN - Christopher J. Kiepper, 62, entered into rest Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Care Center following a short illness.

Christopher was born Jan. 5, 1950, in Warren, the loving son of the late John R. and Marion M. Greene Kiepper, and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, class of 1968, and was a teacher at the Gordon James Career Center. He attended St. William Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, reading, pool and billiards, sailing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His memories will be remembered and cherished by those he leaves behind, a son, Adam C. (Heather Dawn) Kiepper of Bolivar; three daughters, Sarah Kiepper of Columbus, Christina Kiepper Halstead of Tempe, Ariz. and Mary Jo (John DiVirgilio) Kiepper of Boston; five sisters, Mary Alice Martinec of Kinsman, Regina Speaker of Champion, Cat Hanes of Cortland, Michael Davies of Temecula, Calif., and Susan Adgate of Champion; and three grandchildren, Brandon and Alex Kiepper, and Alexander Halstead.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. William Catholic Church in Champion, where the family will receive friends two hours prior to the services. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Balash.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
