GIRARD - William J. "Bill" Mason, 65, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
He was born in April 1947, the son of Henry C. and Jane L. Powell Mason in Youngstown.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked for WRTA.
Besides his mother of Austintown, he is survived by his wife, Dianna R. Hamrock Mason; a son, Nicholas E. Mason of Minneapolis; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Per Bill's wishes, there will be a celebration of his life party at noon Friday at the Pavilion at Liberty Park in Girard.
Arrangements were handled by Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
