PROJECT AT FAIR TO HELP HUNGRY FAMILIES: The annual Canfield Junior Fair Livestock project to help feed hungry families will be held with an auction and sale on Thursday and Friday in the 4-H Coliseum Building 8.?Companies, organizations and individuals can purchase livestock and donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley for distribution to hungry families. Livestock purchases to be donated to the food bank will be processed by Chamberlain Farms. Processing fees will be added to the purchase price. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

DRUG DROP BOX SET UP: A drug drop box was acquired by Liberty Township through a grant. Residents can drop off their unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs for proper disposal from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday at the secure drug drop box located in the lobby of the Liberty administration building, 1315 Churchill Hubbard Road. Medicines in standard containers may be deposited in their own containers. Liquid medications are to be secure before depositing. People may black out their names from the label, if desired. The medicines will be destroyed two times a year.
