Margaret L. Kirwan
While attending Toledo University, she met William H. Kirwan ( the former district superintendent of USS Steel's Ohio and McDonald Works). The couple married and had five children, Susan, Carol, William, Barbara (''Bobbi'') and Marsha.
The family moved to Canfield, where Peg was an active member of the Methodist Church. She helped with the church bazaar and wrote a cookbook with her friends.
Accomplished as a seamstress, she made dresses for her daughters and a tuxedo jacket for her husband.
Golfing and bridge brought many hours of enjoyment with her friends, who were an important part of her life.
Upon retirement, Bill and Peg moved to Sun City West, Ariz. After Bill's passing, she held the family close by entertaining her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews at her Arizona home.
Margaret moved to Talihina, Okla., now the current home of her daughters, Carol and Marsha. She loved talking politics, playing cards and swimming in her pool. It was here that she spent her final days surrounded by love.
She leaves her daughters, Susan of Massachusetts, and Carol and Marsha of Talihina; a son, William of Flagstaff, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family says she will be remembered for her beauty, generosity, spirit, and these words she signed at the end of her letters filled with clippings and advice: ''Love and Kisses, xooxoxo Mom.''
Services were handled by the Talihina Funeral Home.
