AWL HOSTS MOTORCYCLE RUN: The Animal Welfare League will host its eighth annual motorcycle run The Long and Short of It Sunday. The run begins and ends at DiVieste's Banquet Hall, 754 North River Road N.W., Warren. The tour will include the longest and shortest covered bridges in Ashtabula County. Bikes are out at noon and last bike in at 5 p.m. Registration is 10:30 a.m. to noon at $15 per driver and $10 per passenger. The event includes door prizes, 50-50 raffle and Chinese auction. ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Northeast Warren Neighborhood Association will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St Paul's Lutheran Church, East Market and Central Parkway. Guest speakers are Marissa Williams and George Piscalsko, planners at Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership. They will discuss their work on vacant property and zoning.
BENEFIT TO HELP MAN: A benefit poker night will be held at 6 p.m. today at Amvets Post 44, 305 Elm St., Struthers, for Hubbard native Mike Devor who is receiving chemotherapy for stage four lung and brain cancer.
CUPCAKE MAKING FOR CHILDREN: Teen Scene Saturday is holding a cupcake-making event for children in fifth to 12th grade will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howland Library Branch, 9095 E. FARMERS MARKET SET: The weekly farmers market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howland gazebo. The open-air market features farm fresh produce and specialty products, hand-crafted items by local artisans and live music.
