YOUNGSTOWN - The Mahoning County Coroner has ruled this morning's death of an 8-year-old boy a homicide.
The boy, identified as Bryce A. Linebaugh, died of a "devastating gunshot wound of the head,'' Coroner David M. Kennedy ruled today.
The boy was sleeping in his bed at 1404 Maplewood Court on the city's East Side when the bullet entered his bedroom through the wall shortly after 1 a.m. today.
