MINERAL RIDGE - Rita E. Wait, 63, passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 16, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Rita was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Greensburg, Pa., the daughter of Harry J. and Mary Morozowich Wolfe.
A 1967 graduate of Fitch High School, Rita retired in 1999 after 31 years of service at Packard Electric.

She was a member and Deacon of the Wickliffe Christian Church and was also a member of the Action Committee at church.
Rita loved to shop and go on vacation.
She will be sadly missed by her mother of Austintown; her husband, Samuel T. Wait, whom she married Jan. 25, 1969; two sons, Robert Wait of Youngstown and Kevin Wait of Mineral Ridge; and two brothers, Brian (Dorothy) Wolfe of Avon and Larry (Cheryl) Wolfe of Chester, W.Va.
Rita is preceded in death by her father; and grandson, Jayce Samuel Wait.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickliffe Christian Church in Rita's name.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
