WARREN - Eldora Steinbeck, 84, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, with family by her side.
She was born in Youngstown, and has been a long-time resident of Warren. Her life was defined by her the love of her family and friends.
Eldora retired from Warren General Hospital after 27 years and was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, traveling and playing bingo.

Eldora is survived by her four sons, Gary (Lorie) Steinbeck, William Steinbeck, Gail (Kelli) Steinbeck and Dino Steinbeck, all of Warren; nine grandchildren, Amy (Adam) Barnett, Jozey (Miss), Rebecca, Megan, Brittany, Dina, Larissa and Juli Steinbeck, and Hunter Woodley; four great-grandchildren, Nick and Aubrey Steinbeck, and Ben and Nathan Barnett; a sister, Ann Rose Serbin of Cortland; and a brother, Joseph (Mary Ellis) Romito of Poland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Steinbeck, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage; her parents, Carmel (Celli) and Oreste Romito; four brothers, Frankie, Tony, Albert and James Romito; and a sister, Rose Romito.
Her family would like to say that Eldora will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday with a service at 3 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating
Burial will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
