WARREN - Floyd H. Smith, 85, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.
He was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Warren, the son of Raymond and Mae Nixon Smith.
Floyd served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had worked as a pipefitter out of the Local 225.

Survivors include his wife, Jean E. Blaine Smith; two daughters, Pat Sperry of Warren and Sandra Boards of California; two sons, John Smith of Warren and Robert Hipple of Warren; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Floyd was preceded in death by two sons, Eric and David; and by a brother.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
