WARREN - Irene M. Dyson, 77, entered into rest Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center, following a lengthy illness.
Irene was born April 20, 1935, in Weirton, W.Va., the daughter of the late Arthur and Claudine Johnson Williams.
She was retired from Packard Electric after working more than 30 years.

She married Charles Shellman in 1953. He passed away in 1979.
Irene is survived by two daughters, Katherine McNeal and Nicole Dyson, both of Warren; three granddaughters whom she raised, Terri Robinson, Tamara Scrivens and Tanesha McNeal; two brothers, Miller Williams of Cleveland and George Williams of Columbus, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deon Yancy; three brothers, Rufus, Arthur Jr. and Albert Williams; and a sister, Mary McDonald.
Private services were held. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.
