BROOKFIELD - Alice C. Hoffman, 90, died at 2:48 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, Pa.
She was born April 1, 1922, in Brookfield, the daughter of George R. and Nora Hayes Chiverton.
Alice retired from the Brookfield Local School District and was a member of Brookfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Gracia Hoffman of Brookfield; a son, George Hoffman of Maple Heights; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today at Brookfield United Methodist Church.
Burial will take place in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield.
