JURORS TO DISCUSS TAG ANNUAL: George and Susan Schroeder, jurors for the 48th TAG Annual, will give a gallery talk at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Trumbull Art Gallery, 196-198 E. Market St., Warren. Susan Schroeder is a retired art professor at Kent State University and her husband, George, is retired art professor at Hiram College. They will talk about the works they selected for the TAG Annual, which is open to artists who live within 100 miles of Warren. The exhibition will be on display through Oct. 6.
SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY: The Northeast Ohio Multi-Cultural Committee will hold a school supply giveaway from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 1590 Tod Ave., Warren. The event will include musical guests.
CHILDREN'S EVENT SET AT MUSEUM: The Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will host a free open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Anne Kilcawley Hands-On History Room There will be various Civil War-themed activities. Tours of the house will be available.
KINDERGARTEN EVENTS SET AT LIBRARY: "Kindergarten, Here I Come" will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., Warren, and at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Cortland Library Branch, 578 Lakeview Drive. The program includes a storytime for children entering kindergarten, music and a craft. An informational session for parents is offered at the same time.
