Sun. 6:23pm: Warren council to discuss Olympic Inn

August 12, 2012
Tribune Chronicle , Tribune Chronicle | TribToday.com

WARREN - Warren City Council will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Monday in council chambers to discuss objecting to the renewal of the liquor permit for the Olympic Inn, 1129 Parkman Road N.W.

The move comes a little more than a week after city resident Pam Dial was struck in the head by a stray bullet that police believe was fired from the parking lot of the bar. Dial's home is next to the bar.

Police also have made at least two arrests involving weapons in the bar's parking lot this summer.

The bar has been closed by its owner out of respect and sympathy for Dial and her family.

Dial, 41, is listed in serious condition in MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
