WINDHAM - Sarah "Sally" Butler, 72, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
She was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Cleveland, the daughter of Albert and Josephine Case Loy.
She was a homemaker and a member of Windham Baptist Church. Sally enjoyed cooking, bowling and time spent with her family.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Darlene) of Vienna, Robert (Wendy) of Girard, Michelle (Paul) Poland and Joanne Butler, both of Newton Falls, and Anthony of Windham; a brother, Thomas (Pamela) Loy of Cleveland; her sisters, Joanne Sang of Avella, Pa., and Carol Derosh and Pam Loy, both of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Robert R. in 2006; children, Thomas, Mary Jo, Teresa and Sally; and a brother, James Loy.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, 44231, where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Hose officiating.
Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
