Scrappers beat Batavia

BATAVIA, N.Y. - The Mahoning Valley Scrappers used a five-run seventh inning to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 7-3 victory Friday night over the Batavia Muckdogs.

Jairo Kelly had a two-run single to score Andrew Campbell and Robel Garcia for a 5-3 lead. Later in the inning, Kelly came home on a sacrifice fly by Logan Vick.

Jeremy Lucas tied the game 1-1 in the fourth with his second home run of the season.

The Scrappers begin a two-game series tonight at 7:05 at Auburn before the all-star break.
