Casey-Rohrer

Colleen E. Casey and Jacob M. Rohrer were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 26, 2012, at the Church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Holy Name of Jesus in Youngstown.

The Msgr. Peter Polando officiated the afternoon ceremony, which united the daughter of Vincent and Susan Casey of Youngstown and the son of Larry and Deanna Rohrer of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

A reception was held in their honor at Mr. Anthony's at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. Upon their return, a post-nuptial reception was held in Fort Dodge in early July.

Sarah Cornman served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Sefcik of Howland and Kimberly Sefcik, the bride's cousins, and Jessica Koncsol, Karla Kovalchik, Lia Kovalchik, Megan Goodoien and Megan Mead. Gabriella Koncsol, the bride's goddaughter, served as the flower girl.

Serving as best man for the groom was Joey Williams. His groomsmen included his brother, Nathan Rohrer; the bride's brother, Vincent Casey Jr.; and Mark Kozitka, Dan Taylor, Zach Walker, Nick Cochrane and Paul Lorentson. Ben Porter and Jordan Vernoy served as ushers.

The bride, a political science graduate of the George Washington University, and the groom, a leisure, youth and human services graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, are both employed as analysts with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. The groom also serves in the Iowa Air National Guard.

Following a honeymoon to Thailand, the couple resides in Arlington, Va.
