NEW CASTLE, PA. - Marcus Edward Smith, 36, formerly of Youngstown, died suddenly on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
He was born July 21, 1976, in Youngstown, the son of Hillard Charles and Frederica Lynch Smith.
Marcus was employed with Shenango Advanced Ceramics.

He survived by a daughter, Kiana Fish Smith of Kentucky; his mother, Frederica Smith Cross of Youngstown; his father, Hillard Charles Smith of Youngstown; four brothers, Antwan Smith of Columbus, Christopher Smith of New Castle, Angelo Smith of Austintown and Jason Smith of Youngstown; one sister, Jaquese Smith of Virginia; and grandmother, Betty Smith of Youngstown.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nevels Temple. Calling Hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the home of his mother.
