HOWLAND - Donald R. Knapp, 67, of Howland, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center, with his family by his side.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1945, in Cleveland, a son of the late Robert H. Knapp and the late Marjorie Anderson Knapp.
He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1963. He worked for 22 years at Pepsi Cola, and also worked as a special finance manager at Greenwood Chevy for eight years.

Don enjoyed golfing, reading and working on puzzles and games. He was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavs fan, as well as an Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Fucci Knapp, whom he married July 3, 1965; his children, Steven (Ember) Knapp of Howland, Kim (Adam) Bailey of North Jackson, Julie (Clark) Redmond of Cortland, Nichole Knapp of Howland and Jennifer Knapp of Howland; grandchildren, Timothy, Gina, Lucas, Laurissa, Willie, Brandon, Darian, Artrale and Jaden; a great-grandchild, Alionna; and siblings, Robert Knapp of Youngstown and Marilyn Martin of Masury.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard C. Knapp.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor David R. Black will officiate. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
