PARK EVENT INCLUDES ICE CREAM SUNDAES: The McDonald summer recreation program will present Ice Cream Sundae Day from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Woodland Park pavilion. Participants can design their own sundaes.
REUNION PLANNED BY FAMILY: The Whetstone family and friends 21st anniversary reunion will be held at noon Saturday at the big pavilion at Waddell Park, Niles. There will be food, games, Chinese auction, 50-50 raffle and bingo.
CLOTHING EVENT SET AT CHURCH: Hubbard Central Christian Church, 44 S. Main St., will hold a community clothes closet from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. All clothing has been donated. This will be the last clothes closet. The remainder of the clothes will be donated to St. Vincent dePaul Church in Hubbard.
BRIDAL FAIR PLANNED: A Bridal Fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Metroparks. A fashion show and vendor displays are part of the free event.
SENIOR FAIR PLANNED: The fourth annual Mahoning County Senior Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Community Church, 6512 Kirk Road, Canfield. The event will feature live music, free food, beverages, bingo, entertainment and gift basket giveaway.
HOWLAND OFFERS CURBSIDE COLLECTION: Howland Township will hold a scrap tire curbside collection for township residents only. Residents may place curbside a maximum of eight passenger tires only with no rims before 8 a.m. on Saturday. No truck tires will be accepted. For information, call 330-856-4037.
