LEAVITTSBURG - Donald N. DellaPenna, 56, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren after suffering a heart attack.
He was born Aug. 2, 1956, in Warren, the son of the late Charles DellaPenna and the late Doris Earl DellaPenna Reyes.
Mr. DellaPenna attended Windham High School. He was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He loved to ride his motorcycle and play video games and enjoyed spending time with his 21 grandchildren. Donald also loved to sing.

Survivors include his wife, the former Pamela Heatherly, whom he married on July 6, 1976; his six children, Casey, Nicole, Katrina and Amanda DellaPenna, all of Warren, and Sabrina and Lucy, both of Leavittsburg; 21 grandchildren; and five sisters, Edna Spaur, Crystal Baer and Dorothy Cool, all of Windham, Barb Richards of Dayton and Patricia Finchman of Garrettsville.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jeff Reyes; his brother, Charles DellaPenna; and his sister, Loretta Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Following the service, cremation will take place.
