NEWTON FALLS - David Lee Shaulis, 60, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, while at Geneva-on-the-Lake.
David was born Sept. 10, 1951, the son of Donald and Mary Ellen Archer Shaulis. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life.
David married the former Vicki S. Lisum on Oct. 17, 1981. They have been married for 30 years.

He was employed in the maintenance department at steel mills in the area, retiring in 2010 after 35 years. David was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving for four years.
David enjoyed drawing, playing guitar, fishing, reading, listening to and writing music and playing with his beloved dog, Cisco.
Loving memories of David will be carried on by his wife, Vicki Shaulis of Newton Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha (Michael) Dennehy of Los Angeles; sons, Sean and Ryan Shaulis, both of Newton Falls; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbi (Mitch) Rhoads of Rockport, Texas, and Sue (Kenny) Evans of Newton Falls; and one grandchild.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at James Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6 p.m.
Per David's wishes, cremation has taken place.
