BROOKFIELD - Walter J. Wozniak Sr., 84, died at 12:13 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at O'Brien Memorial Care Center in Masury.
Walter was born May 16, 1928, in Hubbard, the son of Frank and Nellie Wozniak.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Walt retired from Youngstown Steel Tank and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hubbard.
Mr. Wozniak leaves his sons, Walter J. Wozniak Jr. of Brookfield and Wayne Wozniak of Poland, and his sister, Margaret Dravesky of Cortland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. Gleydura Wozniak, a brother and a sister.
Private funeral services will be held at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, in Brookfield.
