WARREN - Margot H. Hilgendorf, 85, of Warren, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Autumn Hills Care Center.
She was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the late Hanns and Elly Janke Lucks. She moved to Champion in March of 1974.
She was married to Gunter Hilgendorf, who passed in January of 1990.

She was an elementary teacher for 15 years in Berlin, Germany. She moved to the United States in 1964 and became a citizen on June 11, 1971.
She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Bayview Hospital in Bay Village for 10 years.
She enjoyed animals, especially dogs, cats and birds. Margot also loved reading, watching TV and traveling.
She is survived by her sister, Sigrid Werner of Cleveland, and longtime companion, William R. Sutton. Margot was also a beloved aunt to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The family requests that material contributions be made to Animal Welfare League in her memory.
