WARREN - Theopsis "Theo" Shavers, 65, of Warren, passed away Tuesday evening, July 31, 2012, at his home.
Theo was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Garland, Ala., the son of Curtis and Willie Bell Herbert Shavers.
Theo retired from Jim Pace Pontiac, and was working at Toyota, Volvo, Jaguar of Warren as the detail manager.

Theo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Braceville.
Theo's passions were automobiles, traveling, reading, gardening and sports. In his spare time, Theo loved spending time with his wife and family. He will be truly missed and forever loved by many.
Theo married Lola Faye Thompson on Aug. 19, 1972.
Besides his wife Lola, Theo is survived by two sons, Curtis Shavers of Warren and Alvin Shavers of Greensboro, N.C.; four brothers, Leroy Shavers and Luther Freeman Shavers, both of Warren, John Ralph Shavers of Liberty and Ernie D. Shavers of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Grace Dean and Gloria Shavers, both of Warren, and Delores Johnson of Champion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Willie Bell; a sister, Ruby Murray; and a brother, Alvin Shavers.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road, Warren. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. till the time of service on Tuesday.
