NILES - Ethel Hosaflook, 78, of Niles, formerly of Warren, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 18, 1933, in Elkins, W.Va., the daughter of the late Elzie B. and Celia Raines Wolford.
Mrs. Hosaflook was a graduate of Elkins High School and was retired from 717 Credit Union in the maintenance department. She enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her children, Stephen R. Hosaflook of Warren, Pamela (Bruce) Johnson of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Peggy (Frank) York of Warren; three grandchildren, J.D. Johnson, Ryan York and Rebecka York; and many nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Hosaflook, on Feb. 3, 2011 - they were united in marriage on March 26, 1953; her son, Craig Hosaflook on Jan. 11, 2009; and her four siblings, Hollis Wolford, Pastor Virgil Wolford, Jessie Miller and Doris Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, where Pastor G. Ben Reed will celebrate Ethel's life. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, 1500 McKinley Ave., Niles, OH 44446.
