MESOPOTAMIA - Sheriff deputies found nothing after a bomb threat was called in to the End of Commons general store today.
Deputies with the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office were called about 1:40 p.m. after someone said people in the store should leave quickly because there was a bomb.
Deputies searched for about an hour but could find nothing, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said. The Youngstown Bomb Squad was on standby in case a bomb was found, the spokesman said.
No one at the store answered the phone later in the day.
