Heather Lucas and Christopher Penton were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 19, 2011, at Fellows Riverside Gardens, Youngstown.
Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Cathy Daniels.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the D.D. Davis Center.

The bride is the daughter of Kathi Lucas of Howland and Frank Lucas of Champion. Parents of the groom are J.B. and Marianne Penton of Conneaut.
Korrin Lucas attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Schwager, Jessica Vaughan and Amber wood, sister of the groom.
Adam Norris performed the duties of best man for the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Crisan, Seth Ostheimer and Joe Lucas, brother of the bride.
The new Mrs. Penton is a graduate of Champion High School, received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Hiram College and is pursuing her doctorate of veterinary medicine at the Ohio State University.
Mr. Penton is a graduate of Conneaut High School, received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Hiram College and is pursuing his Ph.D. in integrated biomedical sciences at The Ohio State University.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Columbus.
