WARREN - Kathryn Ciccarone, 88, entered into rest at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Clearview Lantern in Champion.
Kathryn was born July 17, 1924, in Brookfield, the daughter of John and Philomena Frank Palumbo.
Kathryn was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1942 and retired from Packard Electric in 1999 after 32 years as an assembler. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren above anything else.

Kathryn married Rocco Mark Ciccarone on Oct. 24, 1946. He passed away Feb. 17, 1975.
She is survived by a daughter, Monica (Dr. David L.) Anstadt of Cortland; three sons, Atty. Michael Ciccarone of Fort Myers, Fla., Patrick Ciccarone of Poland and Rock M. Ciccarone of New York City; eight grandchildren, Marie, Brian, Michael Ciccarone, Rocco, Patrick and Mary Ciccarone, Ryan and Brynn Anstadt; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Maya.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers; seven sisters; and a grandson, Devon Ciccarone.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
The family of Kathryn would like to thank Cortland Health Care, Clearview Lantern Assisted Living and MVI Hospice.
