WARREN - Power was being restored this afternoon to about 5,400 customers here who lost power after equipment failure at one of the local power substations.
Robin Patton, local representative for Ohio Edison, said power was out after 1 p.m. for customers in the Mahoning Avenue, Larchmont and North River Road areas.
She said crews have been working with power restored to most homes.
In the meantime, Warren police were helping to direct traffic in the areas of Mahoning and Tod avenues.
