WARREN - Thomas Myers, 93, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
He was born in Warren, the son of Fred H. and May Smith Myers.
Tom was a registered gemologist for Fred H. Myers Jewelers in downtown Warren, which he owned and operated with his wife, Ruth.

He was a member of the Warren Exchange Club, Old Erie Lodge 3, F&AM, Cotillion Dance Club, Trumbull Country Club, Warren Buckeye Club and the American Legion.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, he served in World War II in the Asian Theater in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his daughters, Nancy L. (Neil) Norton of Tucson, Ariz., Linda Myers of North Hills, Calif., and Susan (Bruce) York of Warren; grandchildren, Laura, Jeremy York of Warren and Tracy (Brian) Julian of Chicago; and great-grandchild, Graham Julian.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ruth H. Myers; his father, Fred H. Myers; his mother, May M. Myers; a brother, Harold; and sisters, Charlotte Harris and Lucille Irene Smith.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home.
Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna with full military honors.
