Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Simun of Howland celebrated their 65th anniversary on July 19, 2012.
Andrew Simun and the former Irene Potapchuk were married in 1947 at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Vienna.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, Andrew worked for Packard Electric and later joined his wife as a zone sales manager for Beehive Fashions of Bensenville, Ill. They were in charge of six states, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan and Florida, with more than 6,000 stylists.

After they both retired, the couple enjoy their family. They have two children, Andrea and Steven. They also have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They are members of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna.
