Mr. and Mrs. James Brothers of New Port Richey, Fla., were honored during a 50th anniversary celebration held at Trumbull Rod and Gun Club on July 21, 2012.
The event was hosted by the couple's three children, Gary Brothers, Rick (Joyce) Brothers and Donna (Bill) Crawford, and their four grandchildren.
Jim Brothers and the former Rose Wisniski were married on July 20, 1962 in Winchester, Va.

Mr. Brothers worked at General Motors in Lordstown before retiring, and Mrs. Brothers worked most recently at Sparkle Market in Cortland before retiring.
They have enjoyed living in Florida for the past 15 years.
