John and Natalie Winkle of Austintown are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Desiree Maureen Winkle, to William James Adams, both of Vienna. Parents of the groom-elect are William and Marlene Adams of Canfield.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a degree in pharmacy. She is employed as a pharmacist with Walgreens Pharmacy.
Mr. Adams is employed with Dearing Compressor of Youngstown as a machine assembler.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held on Sept. 8, 2012, at Powers Auditorium. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and a reception to be held at the auditorium.
