REDFORD, Mich. - Arthur Lee Vogle, 87, formerly of Warren, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Boxford Hospital of natural causes.
He was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of Robert and Edna Mae Day Vogle Sr.
Mr. Vogle retired from Brainard Steel Corp. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Stanley L. Vogle of Youngstown; three daughters, Barbara L. Vogle of Warren, Germaine Vogle of Atlanta and Yolanda Vogle-Jones of Warren; a stepdaughter, Yolanda Coleman of Detroit; a brother, Robert Vogle Jr. of Deltona, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Lowrine Newton Vogle and Delores Coleman Vogle; a son, Edward L. Vogle; a brother, a sister and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, Warren, where calling hours will be one hour prior to services.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Yolanda Vogle-Jones, 821 Woodbine Ave. S.E., Warren.
