LAKE MILTON - Marilyn Jean Opalenik Bartholomew, 59, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Hospice House in Poland following a lengthy illness.
Marilyn was born Dec. 11, 1952, in Warren, the daughter of George and Louise Mory Opalenik.
Marilyn was served on Craig Beach Village Council from 2004 to 2008, and was a dispatcher for the Craig Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel E. Bartholomew Jr.; her son, George Meleski of Lake Milton; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:30 until 11 a.m. Thursday at Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
