MASURY - Dorothy L. Swogger, 80, of Margaret Street, died at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
"Dot" was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Bar Slope, Pa., the daughter of Sanford and Helen Brady Over.
She worked for the former Swogger Auto Parts, a family business she and her husband owned and operated in Hermitage, Pa.

Mrs. Swogger was a member of First Baptist Church, Sharon, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, George U. Swogger; three daughters, the Rev. Cindy R. Swogger of Masury, Jane A. Besser of Girard and Tammy F. Swogger, at home; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, George E. "Skip" Swogger, and a brother.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Sharon.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Sharon. The family would like everyone to go directly to the church the morning of the funeral. Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery, Brookfield.
