Anita C. Kubicina 1919-2012

WARREN - Anita C. Kubicina, 93,, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her residence.

She was born June 30, 1919, in Leavittsburg, the daughter of John Cosma and Anna Rotz Cosma.

Anita was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School and attended Kent State University.

She retired from Ohio Lamp Division of GE in the Quality Control Department after 30 years.

She was a member of Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church.

She and her husband enjoyed traveling extensively, especially to Mexico, Portugal, Spain, Israel, Egypt and the USSR, where they had visited numerous times. She also enjoyed animals.

She is survived by a niece and several nephews.

Her husband, John G. Kubicina, whom she married July 8, 1936, died Feb. 1, 2007. She also was preceded in death by her parents; brother Johny Cosma; and two sisters, Sophie Cantelmo and Livia Cannell.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel with Fr. Kenneth Bachofsky officiating. Calling hours are one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church, 2043 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483.
