Kristy A. High and Kyle A. Pottkotter were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 1, 2011, at the Outrigger Canoe Club in Honolulu.
Officiating the event was the bride's cousin, the Rev. Jaime Cech.
The reception took place immediately after the ceremony at the Outrigger Canoe Club.

The bride is the daughter of Lloyd and Marybeth High of Cortland. Parents of the groom are Thomas and Pamela Pottkotter of Celina.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Bethany Triplett and serving as the best man for the groom was Dr. Jeff High.
The new Mrs. Pottkotter is a graduate of Warren John F. Kennedy High School in 1996, received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science from Kent State University in 2000 and earned a master of science degree in physical therapy from Columbia University in 2002. She is employed at the Ohio State University Sports Medicine Center.
Mr. Pottkotter is a graduate of Celina High School in 1995, received his bachelor of arts degree in history from Denison University in 1999 and earned his master of sport science degree in sport coaching from United States Sports Academy in 2002. He is the owner of One Five Sports.
Following their honeymoon in Maui, the couple resides in New Albany, Ohio.
