WARREN - V. Gail "Girt" Rounsley, 73, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at her residence.
She was born July 25, 1938, in Greenville, S.C., the daughter of Harold and Virginia Bell Tinsley.
Gail worked as the program director for Warren's SCOPE Senior Center under Roberta Graham. She helped organize and was the first president of the Warren G. Harding High School Panther Moms. She volunteered for Mobile Meals, Second Harvest Food Bank and the outreach programs at her church.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Niles.
Gail is survived by two sons, Michael "Judy" Rounsley of Warren and Tim "April" Rounsley of Howland; a sister, Rebecca Martinez of New Orleans; and four granddaughters, Whitney, Chelsea, Elena and Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria Tinsley.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Niles First United Methodist Church, 608 N. Crandon Ave., Niles, with the Rev. Nathan Howe officiating. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the services at the church.
