YOUNGSTOWN - A man walking in a crosswalk near St. Elizabeth Health Center was struck by a car this morning.
A police spokesman said the man was crossing Belmont Avenue when a car turning left from Park Avenue onto Belmont Avenue struck him.
The spokesman did not have the driver's name available and the victim's name will be released when his family is notified, the spokesman said. He is being treated at St. Elizabeth.
Charges are pending, the spokesman said.
