LEAVITTSBURG - Max H. Linker, 66, died at 1:23 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born June 24, 1946, in Yakima, Wash., the son of John and Viola Hinshaw Linker.
He retired from General Motors Corp. as a welder, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Donna K. Nolan Linker; a son, Wayne A. Linker of Leavittsburg; daughters Rhonda Nolan of Champion and Amy Ferett of Howland; sisters, Marylin Miller and Patricia Folk, both of Yakima, Wash., and Vicky Dollicker of Kelso, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
