Darrel and Treva McCauley of Champion were honored guests at their 50th anniversary on July 7, 2012, hosted by their children, Darrel Jr. (Sherri) and Karla (Burton) Baird, and their grandchildren, Darrel III, Cole, Kyle and Kayla. They also share this day with their grandson Kyle, who turned 13 on July 7, 2012.
Darrel McCauley and the former Treva Phillips were married July 7, 1962, at her parents home in Artesia, N.M.
Darrel retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 20 years. He is also retired from Copperweld Steel. Treva is a homemaker.
