CORTLAND - Betty Evelyn Blascak, 95, of Cortland, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Cortland Health Care Center.
She was born on June 9, 1917, in Cortland, the daughter of Fred and Frances Livitt Shumaker.
Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Cortland.

Survivors include a son, Gary Blascak, Oak Island, N.C.; two sisters, Harriet Hoskins and Letha Kibler; and three grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Blascak, a brother and two sisters.
Per her wishes, no funeral services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.
